Duct split system

What is the Duct Split System?

Duct split is an air conditioning system consisting of an outdoor unit called the compressor and indoor units called evaporators. Evaporators are connected to the compressor through tubes called ducts, hence the name.
The outdoor unit compresses and cools the outdoor air, which is then transported through ducts to the evaporators in the indoor rooms. In evaporators, the hot air flowing from the room is cooled and the temperature and humidity are regulated. The conditioned air is then returned to the room through air outlets in the walls or ceilings.

Advantages of Duct split System

Duct split systems have many advantages, the most important of which are:
1- Energy Efficiency: The duct split system is considered one of the most efficient systems in energy consumption, which helps to save money on electricity bills.
2- Comfort and tranquility: The duct split system operates quietly and unobtrusively, providing comfort and tranquility to the residents inside the building.
3- Temperature control: The duct split system allows the user to control the temperature and humidity inside the house or building, which provides comfort and complete control for the user.
4- Aesthetic design: There are internal units of various shapes and designs for the duct split system, which helps in adding aesthetics and elegance to the building.
5- Space saving: The split duct system is more effective in saving space compared to other air conditioning systems such as window and split, as the tubes and ducts are passed inside the walls and ceilings.
6- Ease of maintenance: The duct split system is easy to maintain and repair, as filters can be easily changed and spare parts are easily provided as well.
7- Remote control: The duct split system is characterized by the ability to be controlled remotely using smart phone applications or remote controls, allowing the user to control the air conditioning system remotely at any time.

Duct split installation

The system is installed in the following steps:
1- Determine the location: The location of the outdoor unit and the indoor units and the path of the ducts necessary for air communication between the units are determined.
2- Electrical installation: The units are connected to the electricity network and connected to the power source.
3- Installing ducts: ducts are installed inside walls, ceilings, and metal ceilings, and indoor units are installed on walls.
4- System Testing: After the installation is completed, tests are carried out to ensure that the system is working properly according to the specifications and standards.
Users should ensure that qualified and experienced technicians are employed to install the duct split system, so that it is installed correctly and works efficiently and without any problems.
